Dr. Lindsay Edwards received a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona in 2005. Following this work, she earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007 from Kansas State University and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Edwards is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Colorado and has been an AAMFT Approved Supervisor since 2016. Currently, Dr. Edwards works as an Associate Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy in the Division for Counseling and Family Therapy. She has published numerous articles and book chapters on LGBTQ+ inclusive family therapy practices and regularly presents her work at the national conferences of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the National Counsel for Family Relations (NCFR).
