Megan Moran started her professional career as an English teacher at Lexington High School. She realized she was more interested in her students’ personal stories than the literature she was teaching and returned to graduate school to study Counseling Psychology. She did her clinical internship at McLean Hospital and stayed on for 13 years as a Transition Specialist at McLean’s therapeutic high school, Arlington School. After bringing her students to Cultivate Care Farms on a volunteer trip, she saw the benefit of farm-based therapy for adolescents with mental health issues. That summer she took a position as a part-time clinician at CCF, and became the Director of Cultivate Care Farms in May of 2019.
